Chapter six: The Forces Of Power

The forces of good and evil are man made forces of false nature. Such things do not truly exist within this or any other universe. The major forces of reality rest within this chapter for your meditation and understanding. To fully understand these powers is to learn to control them.

This chapter was provided by the Prophet "The Nameless". It has been delivered to The Blackest Cult in secrecey and trust. Its words are directly from otherworldly communion with powers of great darkness.

On Power

• Everything exists basely as Power; Power is the underlying foundation of all that is. Power, not Faith, decides the victors of any battle, any war, any conflict of interest.
• Men who use power with wisdom will prevail where those who are ignorant of power would fail. A wise man, knowledgable of the murky ocean of power, will not give his power up, nor will he allow enemies to increase theirs or to use it to destroy him.
• History is written by the Victors... yet even history can be overturned by the forces of power, and not all dead wars are dead.
• He who employs power to better himself, is wiser than he who destroys his own power and self. Power cares not who is destroyed and who thrives.
• Power is a wind, and those who are wise in its ways will construct sails to push them down its flow. Those who are ignorant are at the mercy of the tide and paddles.
• There is no God of Power, for it preceeds the Gods. The Wheel turns, stops or is broken by the forces of Power.

Forces

• There are forces of fire, earth, sky, water; of love, hate, fear, wrath, confusion, certainty; time, size, strength; law, disorder, ambition, apathy.
• When power is given form and purpose, it is a force.
• He who can control the use of force, no matter the form, invests himself with its power.

Power's Ends

• Unification; of separate forces; the conglomeration of a new, greater force built of many, and the power required to form and hold it.
• Dissolution; of one force into several; the dismantling of a single entity.
• Stasis; of a situation; a balance of power; a resistance to the force of time.
• Annihilation; of an entity; death, eradication, destruction.
• Catalyst; for changes, be they controlled or uncontrolled; a spark which heralds the fire or merely darkness.
• Creation; of an entity; birth.
• Challenge; of two opposing forces; the hope of victory.
• Corruption; of an entity or force; to use for one's own ends.
• Disruption; of a force, entity or process; to interfere, interdict.
• Support; of a force, entity or process; to assist.
• Neutralization; of a force or entity; to render irrelevant, impotent.
• Misdirection; of a force or entity; to distract, divert, obfuscate; to cause the mis-use of another's power.

Wisdom

He who is wise will not speak of power; he will hide his power and use it purposefully; he will protect himself from those who oppose him; he will walk the path of power; he will be a force.
