Honestly, I really hoped we didn't need stuff like this. :(

Or should I put this tag in some of my RP pages, in my advy's unique's pages, and etc? Bluelake 17:01, 27 March 2008 (CET)

This page makes perfect sense. You have to remember that the Wiki is an IC device. If you put something on the wiki, and don't mark it as private or OOC knowledge in some way, then it is accessible public knowledge to all characters. It is, of course, up to the characters to determine how they would know something if it is obscure information, but if they can do so, then they can use it. If you don't want it to be know publicly, then you must tag it in some way. --Indirik 17:36, 27 March 2008 (CET)
I like it too. Has Indirik told, the Wiki is an IC device, and if you are planning to create a realm, or extend it, put it like a ish to make it, not a fact. ----Baldur Mekorig
I agree wiki is IC device, but I also think people allow their characters to learn too much info that should be completely obscure and highly unlikely to obtain for that char. In the case of the Blood Cult, or realms to be, or something that large, it is perfectly reasonable to have a tag... Bluelake 18:09, 27 March 2008 (CET)
Yea... Like, I don't mind characters knowing "overall" what the Blood Cult is, I'm sure any noble could have NPCs pull the strings to provide them with basic info on the stuff... However, I don't like religions who declare mine to be evil to simply look up my religion spread and plan some offensive... Not that the little header would really deter anyone, but meh. The point of this template is for stuff people want to save, letters, RPs, plans, whatever, and typically share with a few other people, but that the info wouldn't be available to any char for any reason. As for "having" to put it... no, I wouldn't think so. It's just in pages that could potentially be used against you this becomes somewhat useful. -Chénier 22:08, 27 March 2008 (CET)
