Friends, Taselakians, Countrymen:

If you are reading this, then I, Don Delario, have no doubt met my untimely demise. Be it at the blade of ikkies or the hands of yaks, I hope it was a fitting end for a person of my statur, however small that stature may be.

First off, it has been a pleasure serving with each of you. I wish each of you good luck and promise you that should you ever find yourselves in need of aide, know that there is always an extra seat at my family’s table. My Aunt will be more than happy to provide a healthy meal, and my uncle a home-brewed ale.

To my wife, The name has been made illegible by a teardrop, I leave a myriad of apologies. You know why. To my liege, Lord Homus Cornelius, I leave my sword. May its sharp blade aid you in your efforts to cut things. I leave the brave Rangers who have fought at my side to the leaders of Taselak. Use it well. To my older brother, Mondel, wherever you are, I leave my pen. May it always be mightier than my sword, though not quite as mighty as the paper on which it writes. To my other brother, who’s name I will not speak, I leave half a cow. This is a private matter between myself and my brother, and any inquiries as to the reason are at your own risk. You have been warned.

To the realm of Taselak, I give a lifetime of service and my everlasting devotion. May the yaks and the ikkie one day bow before you in terror.

Farewell, Don Delario
