... that is a flat out lie. Kalmar was not controlled by Old Rancagua or anyone else. True our King was from Old Rancagua, but when you joined Kalmar, it was the land you were devoted to, not the lands you left behind. Also, those who rebelled were not "young nobles," but professional revolutionaries who rebelled in Kalmar only because our military was weak and because our capital was difficult to access. El Cid didn't care about Kalmar Islands he cared about the Avamarian Empire, which for the record ruined the islands! --Alex 15:38, 19 February 2007 (CET) (Character: Legatus)
