I see not how making Ikalak stronger will lead to your eventual victory...but if you wish to continue believe so, I won't be the one to try to change your mind. Proslyn Merytis 00:00, 16 June 2007 (CEST)

A couple things. 1. This is an in character propaganda newspaper, so it would find a way to make the color blue red if it had to, so starting an argument on IC propoganda in the discussion page is silly. 2. The point of the phrasing of that article was meant to basically express that Toren was effectively dead, and was able to use some rather clever political maneuvering to stay alive and really hurt Taselak in the process. It would have worked perfectly had Ikalak not broken its treaty with Toren. That treaty amendment was really Toren's only option to survive at that point, I don't see how you can really knock it. IC discusssions have actually been quite common between the Toren Herlad and the Taselak Tribune, so nothing unusual here. -- OOC Habap 19:37, 17 June 2007 (CEST)
ooc-1. I don't see how starting IC arguments on a newspaper, even a propagandalistic newspaper, is silly. Rather, it's quite amusing. 2. The treaty amendment, frankly, did indeed give Toren some time to breathe a little longer--but it effectively closed off any chance of Toren already slim chances of ever winning the island. I must admit that by that point, it was Toren's only option: because the actions of its leaders had made Taselak's leaders fed up with any chance of an alliance with them, particularly as Toren became so weak that its use an an ally became nil. In any case, Proslyn awaits your answer ;) -end ooc. --RubyDragon 21:41, 17 June 2007 (CEST)
