How do we add a point? Vellos 23:07, 22 May 2006 (CEST)

I just added explanations for that. --Tom 23:16, 22 May 2006 (CEST)

Vienna, Austria is missing. Anna 23:10, 22 May 2006 (CEST)

No, it isn't. You just need to zoom in 2 or 3 levels. :) --Tom 23:16, 22 May 2006 (CEST)

Why do my tag not appear in the map, allthough posted? Didn't work My tag did not show up, must be something not listed.

Be sure you've putting in latitude THEN longitude. The Geocoder suggested kicks out the reverse (Longitude, Latitude). Otherwise you may find your marker in a surprising location. Just for fun, zoom the map all the way out. Some of our friends live completely off the map. --Calvin November 02:35, 23 May 2006 (CEST)
Also, you need to have a , before your wiki link, otherwise the tag will not show. So the format needs to be like this: latitude, longitude, wiki-link - LilWolf 19:08, 24 May 2006 (CEST)

okee...what did I do wrong... 51.26742646223891,-5.71763277053833,User talk:Laurens Schreuders, Battlemaster player ...nothing is showing

okee...I'm currently located in the Sint George's Channel..I'll be trying to fix that ^^
okee I live in the city of Weert, The Netherlands and I'm sure I'm copying the right numbers but somehow I keep ending in this bloody Gergie Channel between the UK and Ireland. Somebody who can help me out ? Laurens Schreuders
Fixed that for you - you're at 5 degrees longitude, not -5 :-) At least you were not as far off as Montfort, who is languishing in the mountains of Transsiberia :-D --Kristian 09:52, 6 June 2006 (CEST)

Hey Tom, I think you might be spending too much time coding if you're forced live, literally, on the street. Fredrich 17:22, 3 August 2006 (CEST)

I think Tom does that so we can't burn down his house if he refuses to implement our requests. You can never be too safe. Farnsworth 17:56, 5 January 2007 (CET)

I've got mine exactly on my house. Hopefully nothing comes flying through my windows... ----V2Blast talkII 17:21, 25 January 2007 (CET)

I wouldn't do that if I were you... Mine's in a random parc in my sector of the city. No, I don't live in a parc! ;) -Chénier 23:54, 14 March 2007 (CET)

Map gone?

It doesn't seem like the map is working anymore. All I see if a jumble of text and charactors.

It appears to be an issue with google maps, so we can only wait for them to fix it. --The1exile 10:20, 6 May 2007 (CEST)
Which they still haven't. Anyone familiar with this thing and willing to help out? --Tom 14:42, 18 August 2007 (CEST)
I don't believe Google will leave a major issue in their features like this. More likely they made some backward uncompatible changes. You will want to check the site and see if you need to update related codes. -- Gsklee 19:12, 18 August 2007 (CEST)
Sure it's not just something simple like javascript being disabled on the wiki? --The1exile 00:50, 19 August 2007 (CEST)
How come I can see google maps finely and still can't see this one? Someone edited it, I thought it was working... Bluelake 16:07, 1 April 2008 (CEST)
If someone edited it, they edited server side, either on this server (where I'd assume some of the script is) or on the google end (likely some update to the code). You look back, you'll notice that none of the older revisions work. --Kag 17:45, 1 April 2008 (CEST)
That no previous revisions can be viewed doesn't tell you much, since it uses a <googlemap> tab. I still think it's probably just Javascript being disabled. --The1exile
I disabled the googlemap extension, yes. That was because some server-side (i.e. Google) change broke it. --Tom 10:13, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
