As entertaining as your articles are, I find ti hard to believe that, in a medieval setting, it is even remotely probable that you could have such precise reports of a battle. Plus, do remember, you're writing a newspaper... not a storybook. ~~
The purpose of the Plergoth Press to to hearten our readers and shame our foes. We clearly state our purpose as an instrument of propaganda on our splash page, and make no pretense whatsoever that we're providing "fair and balanced" reporting.
Mendrugo gets fairly detailed reports from his scribes, and then fleshes them out into something more gripping than raw numbers with scribbled quill-mark notations in the margins. Makes for better copy, and keeps subscription rates up. :)
