Ehm, I believe an Aegis is supposed to be a shield, not a breastplate? --The1exile 22:32, 11 April 2007 (CEST)

As far as fantasy names go, "Aegis" is usually used to denote some form of shield or buckler. After all, the original Ægis was Zeus' shield. (It's what I would have assumed, also.)However, if the game doesn't specify that the item is a shield, then I don't see why the finder couldn't decide what type of item it is for himself, as odd as it may sound to someone else. You could imagine that the "reflection" in the title would be some kind of damage reflection or magic reflection in a more magical fantasy setting. --Indirik 23:41, 11 April 2007 (CEST)
Actually, the game does say what kind of item it is. The owner can see it somewhere in the item list. --Tom 14:48, 23 April 2007 (CEST)
Personally, it reminds me of the shield of Perseus, the one which was used against Medusa, so he could see her without being petrified. But maybe that's just me... --The1exile 00:11, 12 April 2007 (CEST)
