When Aroganc came upon the dusty city of Vozzessdor, he sensed a wind of malice blowing through the deserted streets, still fresh with the smell of blood of innocents. The northward district was a garden of overgrown weeds and broken trees. There, in the middle of a forgotten fountain, he sighted the ungly horde of monsters bathing the in the sun, drying the blood of the slaughter men and women and children of Vozzessdor. Aiming three arrows at once, he took out the most outer ring of monsters, who gave but a whimper before falling silent and stop moving. The bigger ones grunting like bulls were nodding their ugly heads in sleep and grunting. Aroganc took a few steps forward and planted a few arrows in their eyes and let them fall into a deep sleep. He moved forward and counted his loot and while he was about to leave, his eye caught a glimmer of something lying in the dirt. He cleared the dirt away and beheld and handsome shield with the sign of a golden star upon it. It spoke to him in words only he could discern.
