Druzil's departure

Message sent to everyone in your realm (13 recipients) Captain Henlyn came rushing up to his lord. "My Earl, are you feeling better? Your wounds were grievous." Druzil fought the urge to cringe. "Better, Captain. I'm glad to be back in Strombran city. But it will still be a day or two before I am fully well."

He chuckled until he noticed the look on Henlyn's face. "My Earl, Holy Sigurd was forced to flee from a horde a screaming peasants." Druzil was shocked. Sigurd was already gone. The Avatar of Aaron had left him behind. After cursing for a few minutes, while Henlyn did his best to pretend he couldn't hear it, Druzil finally said, "What of the church?" The Captain hesisted a moment before answering. "The last temple is gone. The religion is finished. But there is good news, of a sort." Druzil cocked an eyebrow and asked in a higher pitched voice than usual, "Which is?" "Well, my Earl, you are now the Avatar of Aaron...for a half a day before the religion is officially dead."

Again Druzil was shocked into silence. After collecting himself, "An honor, one I did not want. We shall have to leave soon. But for the half day, I shall lead the followers in prayer. How many do we have?" "All the men in the unit, my Earl. The rest escaped with Holy Sigurd." Druzil just shook his head. "Alright, prepare to leave, " Druzil commanded. As Captain Henlyn rushed off, Druzil thought to himself, 'time to prepare a speech for the realm. It is a sad day, leaving my beloved Strombran.' And with that, Druzil mounted his horse, a bit awkwardly from the injures not yet healed. "Safe sailing," Druzil said to already long gone Sigurd.
