Early Family Life:
Spade's father, a lesser Seraphen noble, could not afford to field two sons at court.
Spade's brother, Club, was Never their father's favorite. This was because Spade was always the more cunning of the two. Thus Spade remained at home while Club was cast out.
Coming of Age:
Spade arrived in Minas Leon shrouded in secrecy.
He knew of his cousin Lisa's plot to kill his cousin Lukanna, but because of his contact with his brother Club, he also knew that Lisa had failed.
He followed Lisa hoping to gain her trust and then to catch her off guard. This seemed sinister at first, but it was soon revealed that Spade's father had extracted a promise of marriage between Spade and Lisa from Lisa's father back before Lisa's sect of the Serpahen Clan had risen to prominence above the others.
Early Adulthood:
Spade joined the NDI and then started to serve along side his cousin in hopes of gaining her trust. While his motives remind veiled to Lisa, he dutifully continued to serve. Spade waited, biding his time until Lisa made a mistake and then blackmailed her into accepting to become Spade's wife.
They held a private ceremony of little consequence and they have yet to acknowledge their marriage to the world at large.
