The Book of Sedan

Chapter 1

When Qyrvagg acceded he foresaw the coming wars and the undead invasion and let us know trials would be upon us. He knew the nations that did not train in war we would not be ready for the coming trials and we would be lost. He also saw that Sartan was weak and that if war was not encouraged now that we would be unprepared for the coming battles where not just land was at stake but for the very survival of every man woman and child on Beluaterra. The last undead invasion many nations were pushed to the brink and only those who has waged strong war beforehand and were skilled in the great art of war survived. Man rebuilt and we were strong again. This interpretation is derived from ancient texts found in the East where I studied in an ancient library of Church of Ibladesh. These texts were written by a mad priest whose name is lost to time. He claimed to see a future where the warrior spirit which I believe is Qyrvagg would strike down the unworthy and prepare man for the great challenges. It is my belief that he went mad by seeing the horror of the undead and monster wars that would follow.

There is also references to the sword and shield of the warrior spirit, which I believe is a reference to Sartan and Eshen-Hosral. Sartan being Virtuous Courage or the Shield of Qyrvagg and Eshen-Hosral being the Army or Sword of Qyrvagg. I believe these references are proof that Qyrvagg was seeding the knowledge before Hireshmont saw the Vision of Ascension. These writings predate the vision by 20 years. It is unclear whether Hireshmont was aware of these writings but I do not find them documented anywhere in his writings. As I continue to read and decipher the mad writings I will to the best of my abilities bring light to the earlier teachings of Qyrvagg. Due to my involvement in the current war I can only read and study for a short time during the day. I also do not have access to the Great Library in Irombro. Until I understand these writings further I can not take the Unity Creed because I believe that this statement is false.

I believe that the doctrinal teachings of the Church, when properly understood, are infallible, because they have been set in place by the Prophets and Elders, who are the right and true teachers of the Amekanun, for the first knowledge of Qyrvagg came to Hireshmont the Prophet, and has been passed on, by the Avatars, in an unbroken line.
