Family Background
The Saterlee Family originates from the bustling city of Libidizedd on the continent of Dwilight. They own an estate almost outside the city limits, located in the surrounding countryside. They have been a minor noble family for many hundreds of years, isolated from much of the world until fairly recently. They receive their small fame from the wine that they make. Located on the main estate are sprawling acres of vineyards. The Saterlee family is quite proud of their ability to make such fine wine, and their technique for doing so is a closely guarded secret. They also take pride in their flourishing gardens, especially their prized roses. Some speculate that some of these flowers give the unique flavour to their wines...
Since the Saterlee family remained isolated from the rest of the world for so long, they engaged in some unfavourable practices within the family. Although the family exited seclusion about one hundred years ago and these practices no longer occur, the family still bears the marks of inbreeding. All members of the family are very pale, with straight, bluish-black hair and startling green eyes. The features of their faces also bear similarities, such as their straight noses, high cheekbones, and almond-shaped eyes. Sometimes, siblings of the family will look so similar, many confuse them for being twins. Along with looking similar, some members of the family bear mental or physical illness caused by the inbreeding. Some members are afflicted with strange blood-related illnesses, while others portray signs of insanity, usually worsening as they grow older.
