History

As a small boy Erwin grew up in the region of Aegir's Deep. Many hours he spent playing in the fields with his brother and sister. His childhood was a peaceful one, where he had a happy youth. However due to some wishes of his father his peaceful life ended earlier than he thought. At the age of 13 his father hired some knight to train Erwin in the art of combat. By the time he was 17 he could handle a sword and learned the basics of commanding troops. This was the sign that he should leave the sheltered life he had been living so far. His father gave him a few troops to act as his personal guard and send Erwin of to Aegir, the capital of Raivan Empire.

A liege

Due to living his entire life in Aegir's Deep Erwin automatically offered his services to the Raivan Empire. The world beyond his house was huge and full of surprises, therefor he decided to find a mentor the guide him with his new life. This mentor was Katayanna Ogren. A women Erwin deeply respected for her wisdom. She thought him the basics and answered the many questions he had. After finding a mentor he went to Lord Jeroen Lucifer and offered his allegiance as a knight to the Marquis of Aegir's Deep.

The battle for Aegir's Deep

After having found a liege to serve Erwin was promoted to the rank of knight. His liege send him the the army "The Wolves of Aegir" where Erwin was to fight for the honour of himself, his liege and his family. His first battles however where not what he expected from them. While waiting in the region of Nimh he received his orders to late to retreat and was wiped out by invading forces from Xinhai. After his wounds from the battle where healed he returned to the capital to recruit new men. With these men he fought against monsters that where invading Aegir's Deep. Unfortunately the victory over the monsters couldn't be celebrated as the combined forces of Xinhai and Astrum marched towards Aegir's Deep. A huge battle was fought only a few days later where Erwin's unit was defeated. Through his realm was defeated there, this was the first great battle Erwin participated in and has influenced his life more than he realized. He had to retreat to the capital where he gathered with other knights to replenish the army. He sworn to himself that he would do anything to free Aegir's Deep from the invading realms.
