An ancient town long past its prime, the region serves as host to a number of fishing fleets, and a granite quarry. Despite its undoubtedly old heritage, the populated section of Westria is densely stacked around the harbour, rumours and stories of ghosts and monsters stalking the ruins of the old town keep the people to well-travelled areas.

Notable Locations

Westria is a village built on the bones of a dead city.

Surrounded by sun-bleached and wind-blasted ruins, the small settlement is located almost exclusively around the old deepwater harbour, the entire population stacked four houses deep around the harbour and no further. Some say whatever killed the city still lurks just out of sight, beyond the protection of the harbour, but those that live here have grown used to the customs and traditions they feel are necessary for survival.

Bright banners, sunshades larger than sails, and canopies used as makeshift repairs make the populated ring around the harbour an absolute riot of colour, full of vibrancy and life in contrast with the desolation of the sea on one side, and the scorched city on the other.

  • Well of the Dead - The well has been poisoned for as long as the people can remember, but tradition has long been to deposit the bodies of the deceased in the well. A few have descended into the pit to find nothing, not even bones, though whenever the issue is brought up it is dismissed as the ravings of madmen and larcenous adventurers.
  • The Baron's Manor - A wealthy merchant known as the Baron lives in an isolated estate beyond the harbour, and very cunningly maintains his role as steward of the town through trade deals and careful bargaining with locals.
