Pearson Family/Gorham

Gorham Pearson, Aged 22, is the illegitemit child of Seth Pearson and Daphia Herod, the daughter of a well known Banker on the Kalmar Islands. Although taken into the house of the Pearson family, having taken their name, he is still looked upon as nothing more than a bastard child. He is refused any heritance in the family, and simply lives from day to day, a "noble" with no chance to be one.

When he was 15 he took ship from Kalmar to the outer colonies, hoping to meet his fortune, fame, and title there, and perhaps earn some respect from his family. He arived in the kingdom of Wetham, and established his own branch of the Family in the county of Lavraz. He served Wetham faithfully as a commander of archers for several years until a comrade-in-arms was unjustly tried for treason.

Gorham was tried for treason as well when he dared to speak in defense of a knight named Gellin Gellander. Both were found guilty after a sham trial and bannished from Wetham. Gorham is now serving as a cavalry commander in Giblot.
