Oritolon (Realm)/Newcomers

Overview

Oritolon welcomes new arrivals to the realm. The established nobility take great care to help them swiftly become a productive and respected member of the realm.

Inexperienced Nobles

Newcomers to nobility (relatively new players) will be given extra assistance in order that they may learn their duties and how best to perform them as well as being given information specific to Oritolon. They will be greeted with the following message..

Greetings New Noble,

We are very happy to welcome you to Oritolon.

Oritolon is a co-operative realm where nobles work for mutual benefit. We encourage and assist new nobles because we know that what benefits them also benefits Oritolon as a whole. We do ask that newcomers do a few things to make this easier..

Firstly; it is in your interest to familiarise yourself with the laws and customs of Oritolon. Please pay close attention to the Bulletins, particularly The Ruler Bulletin which describes the Seven Great Pillars of Oritolon; the foundation of our republic.

Secondly; please introduce yourself to the whole realm so we know a little about you.
(This introduction should be written in-character and can be a simple letter of introduction or, if you mark your message as 'roleplay' a short description of your character's arrival maybe with a little history. Remember messages in-character should have a medieval feel. Simply use the 'Send A Message To: all your realm mates' link on the Messages page.)

Optionally; You are welcome to become a Student and be advised, guided and taught by one of our mentors.
(Choose the 'Change Class' option on the 'Actions' page and become a student.)

Lastly; The world of the nobility can be a confusing place. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask all your realm mates, either someone will answer you or tell you who best to direct your question to.
