OLD GUARD of RIGHTEOUSNESS

While hunting for monsters in Anfalas, in the realm of Falasan, I ran across several orc bands. After defeating them, I followed their back trail to their lair. Once the sentries at the cave entrance were silenced it was no problem sneaking inside. Deeper in the cave complex I found several more orcs and leading them was a large ogre. The ogre was almost nine feet tall and carried a large spiked club and a really nice shield. The creature was tough and it took all of my skill to finally bring it down.

With the battle over I had time to investigate the shield. It was not something that ogres and orcs usually carry. It is a fine steel wrapped oaken shield with a bronze symbol of a lion on the front of a red background. The shield is kite shaped and has fine leather straps and padding on the inside. When recovered it showed evidence of being owned by an ogre. It stunk and there were some signs of battle on it's front.
