Erin sat in his tent in his camp in Hcallow by the entrance. Polishing his claymore sword was a regular routine before he started his day. The tent flap whipped open and it was his 14 year old son Concobhar. He was holding a trunk in both his hands and seemed to be straining.

“Da, Granma wanted ye te have this. She sent me all the way from Latlan.” Concobhar yells as he thrusts the trunk towards Erin.

“What is it?” Erin asks lifting the trunk with ease.

“Dunno, granma said it was from the Sage.”

Erin stares at his sun with disbelief. “Boy, ‘ave you been drinkin? I told ye not to touch me Liquor cabinet.”

“No Da, I’m tellin the truth! I have to get back home, Mum doesn’t know I’m gone.” Concobhar runs out of the tent.

“Damn boy ‘as been drinkin again.”

Erin looks at the trunk, it has a thick lock on it. He knew it was no match for him. Picking up his claymore he takes a step back from the trunk. Lifting the claymore into the sky he swings down and breaks the lock off the trunk. Erin chuckles and opens the trunk. A series of books lay inside the trunk with a note in the middle. Erin grabs the note and it reads:

“To whom it may concern, our people are dying off. This is our history, please save our history.”

Erin looked closely at the books, they were all title similar. The titles read: “Baro’s Kingdom Volume 1. Baro’s Kingdom Volume 2.” And so on. The first book Erin grabbed was “Baro’s Kindom Volume 1.” He began to read the first page.

“In the Kingdom of [smear on page] on the island of [rip on word]. The Celtic people lived together in peace. They were ruled under a single Prince. The King had gone missing after entering The Woods of the Sage. It was said a wild Boar was spotted in The Woods of the Sage shortly after the king went missing. Peasants claimed to have seen it eating the flesh of men. A young man no older than the age of 18 entered the woods to slay the boar that had been eating the people of his village that wandered too close to the woods.

His name was Bellum Baro, a peasant. Bellum entered the woods with a bronze dagger. Walking through the woods he noticed it began to get cooler. The hairs on his arms began to rise. Beams of light shot through the treetop and illuminated parts of the forest. Finally he came to the clearing of the sad forest and there he found the Boar. Bellum drew his bronze dagger, the Boar faced Bellum. They looked into each other’s eyes, the wild Boar came in a flash. The charge came and Bellum barely avoided the wild boars tusks. The Boar circled around for a second charge but this time Bellum was ready. The Boar charged and Bellum swung his arm at the boar losing hold of his dagger. The Boar turned around snorting and spitting. Coming out of the Boar’s rib cage was the bronze dagger. The Boar laid down and died. Bellum had slain the wild Boar, he skinned it, took its pelt and tusks as proof. As Bellum was walking out of the Woods a light shined on him.

Bellum found himself in a dark cavern with two men in front of him. One man was short and was wearing a robe. The other man was tall and had a Kilt of the Royal family on. The man with the Kilt was the King that had vanished in these woods.

“Bellum Baro! You have slain the Boar of the Woods of the Sage. We have found our savior of the Celts.” The King says.

The Man in the Robe speaks “Bellum, I summoned the King here to show him my visions of the future of our people. I summoned the wild Boar to test courage and strength. You passed my test, the king and I must tell you what you must do.”

The King begins “Bellum Baro, you must travel to the capital of this Kingdom and slay my son. It hurts to know that my son must die in order to save our people but it is my duty as King to make sure it is done.”

The Man in the Robe reveals two weapons to Bellum. One was a Claymore sword and the other was Bellum’s Bronze dagger. “Take this sword, lead your people with it. If you lose hold of it, this kingdom will fall. Take your dagger too, slay the Prince with this dagger. This dagger will gain you the title of king. This dagger will be known as the Dagger of Kings.”

The king and the Man in the Robe began to fade away as Bellum was going back to the forest. “Go now, save our Kingdom. The burden is on your shoulders.”

Bellum found himself on the forest floor. The Dagger of Kings and the Claymore lay next to him. He got up and walked out of the Forest.”

Erin closed the first book and walked out of his tent.
