Turnover Delayed

June 14, 1006- As the festival in Akesh temple continues, lightening the people's spirits and preparing them for a new time when they will be in Light of Fontan instead of Caligus, word has come down that the turnover will be delayed. The reason is that yssaria is TOing Tokat and Sordidus, thus Caligus cannot afford to have the morale drop and such caused by surrendering a region. Graciously, Lycastus has accepted the delay. We all eagerly await the incorporation of Akesh temple into our fair Theocracy!

Domestic Law Report

June 14, 1006- From now on, I think it would be handy to keep track of uses of the law(bans, fines, etc), just to keep a record, so we can know what precedents have been set, etc. Today Hireshmont was fined 50 gold for murdering his son in a duel to the death.

On the March

June 10, 1006- The armies of the Light of Fontan march today... in peace. The deal to regain Akesh temple is going smoothly, and word says it will be peacefully handed over as soon as we arrive to do beuro and civil work! All eagerly await what signifigance this may hold for the Light. And so the army marches, peacefully.

New Editors, Paper Revamped!

So, I've joined the No Space Press staff it seems. Me being Hireshmont, former editor of the Oligarchian Observer. The main page has been fixed up a bit, and paperwork reorganized. Lets see what we can do about spicing up the issue layouts a bit...

A New Era?

The last week has had some major events happen causing some to speculate on whether or not a new era has come about. Oligarch has fallen, its nobles being forced to join other realms, both allies and former enemies. The combined forces of Sirion, Fontan, and OR proved to be too much for the overmatched Oligarchian defenders.

For the first time since I have set foot on this island, Sirion has a new ruler, Handow. Sirion is hosting a tournament in honor of Doc and his long servitude and leadership of their realm. Rumor has it that this will be another festive tournament like the one held here in LoF a little while ago. Anytime there is both an abundance of ale and swordfighting/jousting arenas it is guaranteed to be a festive time.

Election Results

Elections were held this morning, with both Tempest and Sparky being re-elected as Fiduciary and Paladin Primus respectively. This outcome is not unexpected do to the lack of opponents which could be an indicator that members of LoF are pleased with the results of both council members.
