Mysticism/Religion

“For mystics, all religions inherently contain mystical beliefs and practices. The worship and construction of temples a faithful does for their religion is essentially mysticism more than anything. Mysticism does not need its own temples, priests or dogmas because all other religions serve as its engine of truth. A faithful can be devoted to their religion and be a mystic at the same time. There is no contradiction or conflict.”

How Mystics Treat Religions

It has become apparent that religious faithfuls are reserved about Mysticism because of the suspicion of apostasy. I reassure them that this is not the case. In fact, Mysticism enhances, enriches and promotes activity in their religion. In my earlier supplements it has already been explained how the Hierarchy of the Gods is the social structure of the divine realm, how the divine realm is the location for all supraliminal activity, and how the Soul is an agent within this realm. So to must religions in our plane of existence be interpreted.

Mystics know that their god is ranked in the Hierarchy based on its strength. Strength is determined by the type of god, by the number of temples dedicated to it, and by the number of followers. Therefore, within our plane, to promote the god of a mystic’s choice one must participate in its religion. Mysticism can only be explained using analogies, allegories, parables, sideways talk and frequent heavy discussions. For brevity's sake, if the divine realm were a continent, then a religion would be a realm on that continent. Just as active nobles participate in their realm to defend and advance it, so to should a mystic consider their religion. Activity is crucial for the progress of a mystic’s god. A mystic who comprehends this teaching will interact with their religion in a more meaningful way.
