Davendrall and Anneliese welcome Katelijn to Tara - Chapter 2

Roleplay from Katelijn

Anne looked at Davendrall and grinned, "Good idea!"

Kate looked incredulous, "You can't be serious. You wouldn't do that to your own sister, now would you?"

Anne began to run toward her sister, shouting, "This is for that time you told me to let all the horses out of the stalls and got me in trouble!"

"It's your fault for taking that dare!" Kate answered back as she took off in a sprint.

Roleplay from Davendrall
As the "Kate" person ran, she realized she was running straight into a before unseen obstacle: Davendrall.

"HI!" Davendrall held a bottle of Leprechaun wine in her hand and moved towards the "Kate" person, who was backing away

Ann managed to catch up to her as she was backing away. She came up behind Kate, and grabbed hold of arms, preventing her from leaving.

"Let me go!" She spat. This it was followed by a kick aimed backwards.

"Ow!" She was tempted to rub her sore knee, but did not let go, "See how rude she is, Dave?"

"I am not rude! I am defending myself!"

Kate looked at Davendrall with furious eyes.

It didn't take long for the hallucinogenic properties to start to work. Instead of seeing Dave as some kind of animal, however, she saw her as her sister.

Anne finally let go of Kate, satisfied that her mission was done. She started laughing. Kate turned around and punched her.

Anne backed away, rubbing where she had been hit. Since Kate was drunk, her aim was not entirely accurate, but it still hurt.

"I'm going to get you for this!" She took out her sword, and waved it at both Annes. "I'm going to KILL YOU ALL!"

It was soon apparent that Kate was also waving her sword at several other, invisible Annes.

Though she was outnumbered, Kate fought valiantly against the invisible Anns. She displayed far more swordsmanship than her sister expected for someone who hadn't seen battle, but in the end she clutched her chest, crying, "Oh no! I am wounded!"

There was of course, no blood dripping from her chest, but Kate dropped her sword and fell over anyway.

The real Ann came up and started to drag her across the ground.

"Where are you taking me?" The 'wounded' Kate asked.

"I'm going to bury you. You're dead."

"Oh. Okay."

Ann came up to a shallow, circular hole and placed Kate in it. It was the hole she had intended to fill up with snakes and push Dave in, but Ann had to terminate that plan due to a severe lack of snakes.

"Your hair is all messed up. Let me fix that for you." Ann knelt down beside her. She took out a bottle of honey and began to rearrange her sister's hair into something spiky.

"What are you putting in my hair?"

"A special... lotion. It makes your hair shiny." She stood up and admired her work, "You're my sister. I can't just let you die with your hair looking awful now, can I?"

"How nice of you!" Kate smiled, "You're a better sister than I thought you were, Anne!"

"You're welcome!" Ann started to leave, but then remembered the sword Kate had dropped. She returned with the sword and placed it near the hole. "Now you've had a proper burial! I'll have to arrange a funeral later, I'm afraid. I'm sure you understand, don't you?"

"Of course."

Ann left, giggling. "She's going to be so angry when she wakes up!" By the time Kate sobered up, Ann planned to be halfway to Eston.

Kate woke up to find flies buzzing about her face. She waved them away. "Shoo!"

Her clothing was soiled with dirt and she smelled of... honey. Kate peered up at her hair, then tentatively placed a hand on it. It felt sticky. She brought her hand down, and saw that it was definitely honey.

"Anneliese..." She recalled running from her sister, and then wine being poured down her throat. Much of what occurred after that had been lost, but she faintly recalled fighting her and then getting killed and dragged to a grave...

Kate sat up, and looked around. Yes, she was definitely in a shallow pit. That part of the story fit. But how in the world did she get honey in her hair? And why was she not dead?

She stood up and stumbled off to a nearby pond. She looked down at her reflection. Her hair was shaped into spikes, as if it was actually a helmet. A brief memory entered her mind:

Your hair is all messed up. Let me fix that for you.

A flare of anger tore through Kate, and she shouted, "Anneliese van Dell, you-" A portion of this message has been omitted to protect sensitive noble ears. "-I'm going to kill you!"
