Mattlu/Eugui Village

This small but important village consisted primarily of camel herders and peddlers. It was situated near the desert oasis for which the village was named, which lay along a secondary but still oft traveled route connecting the eastern province of Axtli to the heart of Talerium, Chocxal. Due to this, the village was relatively prosperous, providing travelers with fresh mounts and supplies as they travelled the east-west corridor through the desert.

Unfortunately, the village was destroyed by maurading Darkan troops during the Darkan Betrayal.

Although Eugui still lies in ruins, the strategic value of the nearby oasis remains. Thus, it is likely a new settlement will spring up in time, once the events of the recent past have faded from memory.

Among the nobility of Talerium, the Domingo Family is known to have roots in Eugui.
