After 3 hours, you finally find an organized undead army. They are lead by an undead champion, an evil creature with more power and intelligence than the usual lot. You fight with zeal and strength - but the undead are unimpressed. They feel neither pain nor fear, but you do. Lots of it. Then you give up trying to defeat them and you only try to get away - but you find yourself surrounded! You fight on, desperately trying, and they beat on you without end. After what seems like eternity, you manage to break through their ranks. Exhausted and bleeding from many small cuts, you escape. A little rest and you will be ready again.
Although you were defeated, you can work with other adventurers to get the undead put back in their graves, where they belong. If you want to enable another adventurer to continue from here, tell them this information:

If you are receiving this notice it is because tales of your deeds in the slaying of monsters and undead has traveled far enough that they have reached my office. Seeking out quests is what Adventures do. Much time has passed since you first made your presence known on the continent and many a tale has been sung regarding your exploits. There are 20 of you whose tales shine above all the rest. Rewards are past due to you.
You elite Twenty are being offered the chance to further serve the Realm of Old Grehk in a more official status. I offer you employment in the service of the fiduciary branch.
Pay will be available if certain clerical conditions are met. The more important thing, is if you elite few so desire, recommendations can be procured and I will personally argue on your behalf for being raised to the nobility. This is of course directly related to your performance on the field and the length and dedication of your service.
I cannot guarantee your personal safety. I offer high rewards and equally dangerous work. Only the braves should consider the service. Should you choose to accept, respond to this message. In a room lavishly decorated, a motley assortment of characters mill about. Servants nervously walk around with trays of fine wine and food. A table is in the center of the room. Gregory walks to the center chair and still standing addresses the guests.
Greetings Freemen Adventures,
First, let me appologize for the inconvenience of having to travel to Ossmat. I am sure that for many of you it was a long trip. I am grateful for your dedication to serve the Realm of OG. Consider the journey the first test of many to come.
Troubled times are ahead of the Realm of OG. I do not know of how much news the Freemen of OG recieve, so let me update you just in case.
The realms of the north have pooled their resources together to stem the tide of the invasion. Old Grehk is on the front lines of this war. Our resources are stretched thin. There are two important missions that need to be accomplished that would relieve the strain on the military of OG. The choice of what mission you wish to accept is yours. Even if you choose not to accept any of the missions nothing more will be said of it or any more asked of you. Your dedication to the realm will not be in question and no punishment will given. You are free to walk away at any time.
The first mission is a simple one. No doubt a few of you here have surmised what it may be already. We need regular scoutings of our boarders in a coordinated effort. Those of you who take this mission on, will be divided up and sent to the boarder regions of the realm to watch for incoming threats while our military is on campaign.
The second mission is a little more dangerous. All volunteers for this mission will be accepted but should you deem the risk too great I encourage you to accept the first mission.
Gregory unrolls a map on the table. Icons on the map representing OG troop movements and recent Daimon sightings are marked. A large mark is over Gethsemene representing a large Daimon Presence.
We believe that there is something of importance in the region of Jobo's mouth. Information that we have received leads us to believe that there is something there that holds the key to our success. Acting on this information, a recent coalition of armies from multiple realms approached Jobo's mouth. The Netherworld reacted violently and swiftly crushed the armies and is retaliating against the realm that led the coalition. I believe that a few adventurers of incredible skill and courage could make it there and undetected and have a chance at uncovering what is so important about this region to the netherworld.
The second mission will go to Regions under control of the Netherworld and scout the region for a few days. See what you can see, search for lost items and hopefully return safely. The primary target will be Jobo's mouth. Secondary targets include all Regions under netherworld control. There is something there. Any information you may provide could prove to be useful. If captured expect to be tortured for information and executed.
AVOID the Daimons at all costs. I will attempt to provide you with regular reports with any information we have from our military scouting reports to assist you in this endeavor. If you have unique items, I recommend that you leave them behind with someone you can trust. The Daimons can sense their presence if they are nearby.

If you choose the first mission you are free to hunt monsters at your discretion. IF you choose the second mission, I cannot recommend it, but again it is at your discretion. The banking guilds still will not accept transactions to Freemen. Do not believe though that this will be the only form of reward. Old Grehk has always generously rewarded those that serve the Realm and King. I will personally see to it that all of you who take on the challenge of serving your realm will be rewarded beyond what you expect.
Simply let me know which mission you choose and I will organize the two groups and designate a leader for each party. I have already chosen the Adventurer Skye to lead the 2nd expedition should Skye choose to accept.
If you do not wish to join either mission, simply walk away and I will not bother you again in this matter.

We can not get you your military reports.
We can get the following though, but I am unsure what help they would be unless in one of their occupied regions.
Listen to rumours - find out who is in the vicinity. (takes 3 hours)
Mix with the locals - find out what ails them. (takes 2 hours)
Something I thought you would ask of us but have not, was taking one or more unique item and getting it restored as, as far as I am aware Nobles can not repair these items, but if we have collected/gathered the right things the sage requires, then we can ;)
One last thing. The 2nd mission should be of limited size to attract less attention or have 2 groups and send them both into occupied regions, but in different directions, If some are caught it will draw attention away from the other group ;)
Oh and by the way Skye only thinks she is our leader because we let her walk ahead, we only let her walk in front because it makes our journeys seem shorter and the miles of endless walking appear to flash by as her backside in those leather pants is a sight to behold, LOL.
