Lantzas/March 1008

In March 1008, Ethialan troops garrisoned the fortifications in Lantzas while Lasanarian archers attacked. Due to some sorcery on behalf of the Lasanarians, the troops were rooted to the spot in their places atop the wall.

While the battle ended a draw, Archduke Septimus Scarlett of Ethiala fell to an archer's arrow, bringing grievous sorrow to the realm. It was in the ensuing chaos of his departure that Lasop seceded from Ethiala to form Kamador.
