Friedrich was a tall man, almost gaunt, with icy blue eyes and pale blond hair.

Most of his life he kept it short in a military cut. Though near the end of his life he let it grow. During his latest months, the long, wild hair and full beard resembled somewhat the manes of a lion. It was in the same period thate he acquired the Silver Sword of Bloodletting, a blade he always kept on him.

Friedrich was an educated, and usually well-behaved nobleman. Though his anger could be disastrous. Due to his habit to see his enemies as dehumanized monsters, he was willing to commit the greatest atrocities in defeating them. His sole dedication was to the land of his ancestors, Dsinasas. Towards the realm Lunaria he served though, he was cold. Them and their gods he believed to be weak fools.

Troops

Friedrich was an infantry commander most of his life, and his troops were barely better than bandits when it came to mentality and behavior. He made it his goal to always pick the most brutal and grim soldiers for his service. Unlike bandits however, they were well trained and equipped to be as deadly in combat as possible. He refused to enter a battlefield if he commanded mere cannon fodder.

Final Months

Having grown disillusioned in Lunaria, and despising their allies Nighthelm, Friedrich crossed the bay in Dsinasas with his men in a large fishing boat - to join the Tectum of Novus Spes and support the rebellion against Nighthelm. After they were defeated though, his new realm had to retreat into Dsinasas, and the military command decided to start looting.

Seeing his allies of the Tectum of Novus Spes turn to loot the sacred land of his forefathers, Dsinasas he went back to serving the Grand Lodge of Lunaria in a fit of rage. His servitude was never more than words though, since he couldn't care less about the city of Ortedail. It was in Dsinasas though, that Friedrich decided he would no longer stand for Soliferum's nearly demonic brutality. He gathered the finest Dsinasan men, and equipped them with lances and horses, so they could join the peasant uprising against Soliferum.

His one man crusade didn't impress the armies of Lunaria for many days, until they finally decided to make one last stand. The battle was lost however and not long after Friedrich awoke in a Soliferum jail. He tried to escape for two days, but realising he would never see a free Dsinasas again, he decided finally to hang himself.

For it is better to die with honor, than to live in servitude to your oppressor.
