Keuerleber Family

The origins of the Keuerleber family date back to the first years of the colonization of Dwilight with the arrival of Mayer Amschel Keuerleber and his younger brother Lester Gold. Landing in the Colonial city of Chesney, he married a native Dwili woman from Chesney and opened a pawnshop. Over the years he had four children and accumulated enough wealth to raise his family to nobility, but died shortly after. The titles and estates owned by Mayer Amschel passed on the his eldest son, a hunchback, Chuldah, which proved to be a poor decision of the departed Keuerleber patriarch. Chuldah's mental state was as bad, if not worse than his physical condition. After nearly a decade of acting patriarch, Chuldah plunged the family deep into a crisis with all estates, wealth and titles put at risk. The Keuerlebers are still active but divided, with most of the family wanting to install Josep, the second brother as patriarch but Chuldah having the legal claim to the family fortune. Now with the monster invasion of the western Dwilight, the Keuerleber family estate is being uprooted from the ancestral homelands and forced east. This only weakens Josep's claim on the Patriarchy, but it was never a claim he wished to own. Time well tell the Keuerleber story, for now, they flee their home.

Chuldah

A liar, swindler, cheapskate and a hunchback, Chuldah never had much going for him except for his keen financial genius which landed him the title of patriarch of the Keuerleber family. His career began humbly in the city of Chesney, Dwilight, where he was born and raised. At the time of his ascension, Chesney was under the banner of Saffalore, a small city state on the western continent of Dwilight that was eventually conquered by D'Hara.
