Lest institutional memory become clouded with the passage of time, herein are preserved the scrolls upon which priests and scholars may read the words of the Herald during the early days of the Order. They are presented in chronological order, from the founding of the faith in the Colonies.

Temple Founded in Abaka!

Lady Murakama Hikaru has long been planning to build a temple in her region of Abaka. Today, she has formally renounced her title as Countess, and taken up residence on the holy grounds. From this day forward, she will devote her life to bringing people to the blessings of the Kami. She invites everyone to join her for prayers anytime they happen to be in the region.

Temple Constructed in Bode Batura

Lord Ardrryn Dynrode, the Count of Bode Batura, has once more demonstrated his devotion to the Kami by ordering the construction of new temple in his region. Although the new house of worship is small, as more of Bode's people are brought to the faith it has plenty of space to expand. Lord Ardrryn has been named Revered Curate of the temple, and will manage the facility in addition to officiating at services there.

Shrines Abound!

As the ranks of the faithful swell with new followers, four new shrines have been constructed for their benefit. Though most of the Kami's facilities are located around Alebad, there is a strong pocket of faith in the Outer Tilogian region of Nidalery, thanks to the hard work of Journeyman Priest Rassov Cronis. This joyous news is due to the efforts of all our dedicated men and women of the Order, however, and each of them has served the Spirits well this week.

Temple Constructed in Alebad

Duke Eugene II, who's generosity overflows, has graciously granted us land to build a new temple in his city and several hundred gold for supplies. There have already been hundreds of people stopping by to view the temple grounds, and many of them have converted on the spot. As it is located nearby the Great Library, we hope to build it into a haven of learning, and a destination for every serious scholar in the Colonies.

Noble Murdered in Chains

Phobos Decimus, a longtime follower of the Kami, was recently murdered in cold blood by the Oritolon Council. For testing his mettle on the field of battle, our brother Phobos was thrown in Oritolon's dungeon, only to be put to the sword. No attempt at parley was made on their behalf, nor was a prisoner exchange attempted with the Alebadian Haruspex, therefore it cannot be mistaken for anything other than base murder. We pray that Phobos' spirit make a swift journey to join the Kami that he dedicated himself to. So that he may find favor in Krieg's company, a shrine was erected to his honor in Grentzen, near the spot upon which he last stood as a free man.

Diplomatic Decrees Issued by Herald

Exaulted Herald Hikaru dispatched a letter to the faithful this afternoon announcing two new changes in Order policy. After much prayer and study, the Exaulted Herald made known a definite link between the Gods of the Church of the Trinity, and the Kami of old. Her research shows commonality among the Spirits worshiped by both faiths, even to the point of knowing them by the same name. The publication of this knowledge will lead to exciting new friendships between Kamidoists and Trinitists alike.
The other decree issued today was a call upon the Leaders of the Ryou Gu Tykou to change their misguided ways, and free their followers from the physical and spiritual enslavement they have been placed under. Exaulted Herald Hikaru laid the blame for this directly at the feet of Saiga Shenron, and his well-known desire to forge a "religious empire" reaching across the bulk of the Colonies. Writing that the Tykoist cult "goes against everything that the Kami have taught us to love and respect," she urged Tykoists to open themselves up to the individuality of creation.
