The Duke staggered back as the healers took Bowie away.... This is not what he had planned. He had intended for one of them to die today. This seemed to be an odd twist of fate, if not cruel.

Hexic needed council, and to clear his thoughts. He retreated to the temple to the Way of the Dragons, and sought the local priest. This was the first time he had set foot inside since its construction. Seeing the blood covering the Duke, the priest ran over assuming the Duke had been injured. "I need council, I need guidance of a spiritual and religious nature, father." Hexic said as he brushed of the priests attempts to examine the Duke "I have not been wounded." "Very well. Please sire," The priest motioned to a booth, used to receive confession. "After you." Hexic made his way into the booth, in a sort of daze.

Hexic sat, and explained to the priest his quest to find redemption for war crimes, and had believed that slaying Bowie would have brought him it. But he had failed, hadn't he? Bowie had not died.

"My son.... Sire," Said the priest with uncertainty, he had never addressed the Duke before. "Duke Bowie's fate is to be determined by the gods now. The great Sallow will judge him, and render judgment. If he continues to live, it is only so he can repent for his own crimes. We all deserve that chance... In your heart you know I am right."

"Thank you father. I see you are preparing for service, perhaps I will attend." Hexic said all this in the same daze he had walked in with. He made for the door, and the priest shouted back at him "My liege! Perhaps you could leave your bloody armour in the keep next time? There is blood all over the floor." Hexic snapped out of his daze, and gave a hearty laugh, and examined the floor. Indeed, there was a lot of blood. It would take at least an hour to clean up. "I'm sorry father! I'll send someone to help clean it up!" Hexic waved the good priest farewell as he exited the temple.

Kisharianda Onyxien, Confessor of D'Hara, Duchess of Port Raviel has denounced you as a traitor and enemy of the realm and is currently preparing your ban from the realm.

Kisharianda Onyxien, Confessor of D'Hara, Duchess of Port Raviel has declared Bowie Ironsides (Duke) an enemy of the realm and will issue a ban on him shortly. She has given the following reason:

"For conspiring a rebellion against the crown, escaping your confinements while refusing to stand trial. Bowie Ironsides you have put the crown at risk and for that you are banished from the realm of D'Hara"

D'Harans,

It is with a great sadness that I was forced into banning Bowie Ironsides today, we are losing a misunderstood noble and a friend and in my case my champion. I write this letter to you because I feel the need to warn everyone equally of their courses of action and what the end result could be.

The crown will not tolerate such acts and as Confessor to the realm I will enforce any acts taken against the King and the realm. We live by laws that are not hard to abide by and for what ever reasons you may have to not follow these laws is beyond me. Our King has always acted in the best interest of D'Hara and it's nobles and he will continue to do so with my full support, I will enforce what ever decisions he makes.

Take this as a warning for those who may intent to conspire against the crown in the future, I will not be as lenient. If anyone is caught breaking these laws they will not be given the opportunity to continue to stay in D'Hara nor will they be able to defend their actions if they cause uproar in our realm. I will be revising the law of D'Hara today so that it is made clear to all it's citizens.

I have given a fair chance to Sir Rathan to fix his wrong doings and only time will tell if my decision was the right one. I will be watching closely as the months go by and I will not be as forgiving the next time around.
