Crowds gathered in the centre of Nifelheim a few streets in front of the tall spire, to witness the unveiling of the city's newest monument. On a stage before the monument, Margrave Bowie addresses the crowd.

"Gentry and peons, today we remember and celebrate the victory of the Morek Empire against Summerdale. The war lasted roughly one year, from the Winter of 18 YD to the Long Winter of 19 YD. Originally launched as an imperialist expansion by Summerdale against the Libero Empire, it ended in a triumphant victory for Morekan imperialism. All of us stand here today as testament to the defeat of Dalian imperialism! The glory and spoils of such a victory belong to the armies of the Empire and to the Throne that wields them. Though this former capital city is still in disrepair from the combat and siege that occurred here, each day it progresses toward a brighter future. I commissioned this Arch to remind us of the hard work and sacrifice the Empire committed to liberate this city from tyrants and warmongers. As we continue to build and fortify the city we can do so under the firm vision of this Arch, of which I dub the Dalian Arch. May the Dalian Arch stand forever as a memory to the war, to our victory, to our progress and to the everlasting rule of the Morek Empire!"

The crowd cheered as the sheet fell and the Arch was revealed. It stood over a street that led toward Belianzi's Tower, although the spire easily dwarfed the hundred and sixty foot tall Arch.
