Viper Legion Rebellion Speech

Rebellion!

Bowie Ironsides is calling for an uprising against the current government! In a passionate speech he said:

Aquilegions,

The Viper Legion has come to lose confidence in the current government of our realm. We have been working tirelessly to grow and develop but have found obstacles that can only be overcome through regime change.

First, we are outraged at the lack of commitment to the recovery of Turbul. Despite our plans and efforts, the region has revolted because of slack cooperation. Second, we no longer wish to be reigned as a theocracy. None of us are Astromancers and yet have to be subject to that faith. The incident with Viscount Gregory, the lack of support by Corsanctum to aide our impoverished and hungry realm, and other reasons have proved to us that theocratism does not work. Third, we feel that the war with Xinhai is unnecessary and more emphasis should be placed on ending it. A new Aquilegia may find a better geopolitical position than our current state of affairs. We risk this rebellion to achieve that hope.

The old order of Aquilegia was withering and decaying. The victory of this rebellion should revitalize our realm into a new era. Whether or not that new era will see prosperity and expansion is up to us and we accept that responsibility.

Astromancers, the realm will become a different environment for you. Should you choose to stay you will become subject to a new policy of restriction. While we encourage you to remain and help us recover, I warn that you may not be entirely comfortable here anymore.¹
