The chain mail has a distinct shimmer to it, when not in being worn in battle, it has a dull deep red tint only noticeable at close range, but when in battle it shines brightly a blood red that can be daunting to even veteran soldiers, such is its rarity. The armour has been known to shatter arrows made by lesser blacksmiths, and can even withstand on occasion an axe blow from a lesser trained foe. When used in tandem with other unique items made by magical seers, the armour grows in durability, and seems to lighten in weight. It is clearly made with the purpose of aiding heroes in battle, of that there can be of little doubt.
The chainmail on the Far East Island was once worn by Ethialan, Lord General Primus Baraedor Count of Pesol, Marshall of the Grand Ethialan Army.
