"It's a rock," Johann said, kicking at the hard packed earth surrounding the Estate. "It's a rock, surrounded by murderers and thieves who absolutely hate your guts." He chuckled. "Congratulations, Baron Hynes."
Connaver blushed as his Uncle walked off towards the Warden's Estate, laughing meerily.
"It's a sign of trust!" he shouted at Johann's back. "They know I'll get it in working order soon enough!"
His Uncle almost fell over laughing.
"You'll see!"
