Hynes Family/Alois
Alois, youngest son of Elmont and Eva Hyness, is the complete opposite of his cousin, Johann.
Alois fascination with the Army began early in his life, unlike Johann whose fascination began around the age of ten. He would forsake studying and sneak away to play in the woods around Woolton and now feels natural and at ease in the rural areas.
After hearing of Johann's exploits at Al Arab as his elder cousin passed through Woolton, Alois left to join Ubent at the age of seventeen as the realm was about to enter the Ibladesh/Itorunt war.
He was captured at Ar Raqqah soon afterwards and his ego was deflated a little until his release. Upon his return, the army began to recruit and headed out to Al Aquabah. Here, during a massive battle that left Itorunt's army crushed and Ibladesh staring into the eyes of defeat, his ego was reinflated just a tad and, in the throes of battlelust, decided to become a hero.
After The Southern Federation plowed through Ubent like a scytche, Alois decided to nominate himself for General. He was in the running and looked to win when his liege, Vapor, demanded Alois step down and let him take the position even though Vapor himself had conceded he was unfit to command. After a heated debate, Vapor won the election and Alois found himself chased from Ubent by the powers that be.
Hearing rumors on the Kalmarian situation, Alois decided to check it out for himself before immigrating.
The Islands turned out to be a corrupt realm full of puppets and controlled by the Puppetter Lalakis, and all his service there earned him was the disownment of his family. Alois decided to leave the islands and seek his reputation in Itorunt after Lalakis publically aired a call for peace from King Lucian.
He marched with Duke Robert's Army on their Great Crusade to liberate Kalmar Islands from Avamarian manipulation, taking place in and being captured during the initial assault on Chaos Temple, losing 30 good men to battle.
He now serves the Southern Federation in Itorunt as a Knight of Xavax. For loyal service to the realm, he was given the title of Marshal of Xavax. At the age of 25, Alois killed Morton of Light of Fountain in a duel to the death. At the age of 26, he was raised to Lordship and bestowed the title Count of Nimraw. At the age of 27, he was made High Marshal of Itorunt. At the age of 31, he was killed in a battle in Enubec, against the forces of TouchanonV.
