Heen (Realm)/Heenite Highlights/August '07/Alana Gets Jealous

Alana was out of breath after all the dancing with Seamus, and went to have a rest, while Seamus carried on dancing and drinking at quite an intensity. He was clearly set on forgetting the last few months of horror during the invasion, and was quite a long way into merriment. Erin had joined his brother in dancing in their unique style, and it seemed like they were doing some sort of synchronised dance that they seemed to dance without even thinking.

Alana noticed that a few people who had been playing along to the music in the inn had stopped playing and were having a few drinks. She approached a young lady, and asked her if she could borrow her instrument, and soon was playing along to the pipes and drummer. Alana had always been good at the flute, but as she looked over at Thrydwulf she couldn’t help but laugh. He had a shocked look on his face, as Alana had not played the flute since they were young kids, and it didn’t look like he had even remembered until just then. She carried on playing, and Thrydwulf began to dance again, with a wry smile towards Alana.

She looked towards Seamus, and although she knew there was nothing in it, she couldn’t help but feel slightly jealous seeing him dance next to another woman. Alana laughed it off however, and played a harmony over the rhythm of the drums and the melody of the windpipes.
