Eoin, the Bastard of Hartwood

Eoin is the elder half-brother of Rhisiart, the heir of Hartwood. Growing up Eoin was groomed for leadership, he was expected to take over the manor as the eldest son of Lord and Lady Hartwood. This was no easy task for his family and tutors, as Eoin had a wild and rebellious nature. Lord Hartwood often wondered aloud how such an uncouth son could be his, despite this he was rather shocked to learn the truth.

After a lingering illness Lady Hartwood confessed on her deathbed to infidelity. Furthermore Eoin, the heir apparent, was not even the trueborn son of Lord Hartwood. The news shocked the small manor, as Eoin was well-liked despite (if not due to) his faults. Lord Hartwood immediately shaved his head and entered a monastery, leaving family matters in the care of his son Rhisiart. Rhisiart loved his brother so he did not cut him off from the family name completely, however he saw the political necessity in banishing Eoin from Hartwood Manor, Melias, and Eston. Eoin did him one better and, taking a small band of men, left Atamara altogether.

Eoin and the Storm Crows sailed east in a longship and made their living raiding coastal hamlets until they made their way to the Far East. Eoin settled in Arcachon; swearing fealty to Akasha, Duchess of Enlod. After the time of troubles, when all oaths were broken across the continent Eoin found himself a knight of Ecsetuah.

Eoin was recently seen boarding a ship to Belauterra.
