Fontan (Realm)/Elections/Jim

All right, my speech.

I know Lilith is doing a good job as judge, and I don't plan on being radically different.

However, if elected I promise to take a softer line on bannings. I don't believe being outspoken about controversial issues is enough to warrant a ban, since I believe democracy is founded upon open and frank discussion. If people agreed on everything, there would be no need for elections, so I would try to foster the spirit of discussion in Fontan, as it used to be. I would try to bring out the quieter members of our community, so that our realm is a true representation of the people, and not the ideals projected by the more outspoken individuals of our realm.

Also, I believe it is time for new faces in the council, so that others may experience the responsibilities of a government position.

So, if you wish to see a livelier Fontan, in which organised debates takes place and people can feel that they can make a true difference all of the time and not simply at election day, then vote for Jim.
