Loronzo Grey Ladies and Gentlemen of Falasan, I, Loronzo Grey, would like to put my name forward to rule this great realm. In the trying times that come upon us soon, a ruler with a firm yet light-hearted approach to life may be necessary. I ask for your consideration in the coming elections. While I admit that I do not have a list of titles after my name, this does not mean that I lack experience. Not many of you know of my involvement with The Guild. I have served Falasan loyally for some time. I would like to set the record straight on claims that I am "young and inexperienced". As you can tell, I am neither. What I feel I am offering is a name unrecognized to the rulers of other realms. The can be a major asset in diplomatic negotiations where old prejudices may be brought to bare. I assure you that my manner is a kindly one, which can only aid Falasan in the coming turmoil. Now, I will say this, as well. It could be said that Falasan needs a strong hand in this time of continental upheaval. In that case, if you would truly like the draconian leader, I am not the candidate you should elect. As Lord Jambo has set the precedent of a platform, I shall now discuss my own. As previously stated, I offer a friendly persona to fill the position of ruler in order to provide a balance in these times of strife. My specific ideas are separated in much the same was as Lord Jambo's, with some exceptions. Militarily, I wish to promote efficient chains of command within our military structure. Clear concise orders that are capable of being followed swiftly and accurately. This would also increase the importance of marshal positions and allow many nobles to gain experience as leaders. This can only aid our realm. Other than this simple aim, I plan a hands-off approach to the realm's military, allowing the marshal to conduct the affairs of the military in entirety. Internationally, I plan to extend a hand of friendship to all of our neighbors. Let bygones be bygones, and start anew with a blank slate. In such dealings, concessions will obviously be necessary, but I would consult with the council and The Guild before any treaty took effect. Furthermore, all treaties will be discussed and agreed upon in The Guild and given strict time constraints for any action that takes place. To sum up my stance on international affairs, I would extend a firm, yet friendly, hand to all other sovereign nations. Economically, I will not pretend to understand the issue. I will entrust this issue completely to the Treasurer and encourage discussion of policies. Domestically, I will encourage the arts. In formulation with Lord Jambo currently is the next production of Theater Grey. Hopefully, others will take such programs to the next level, in time even adding to our national identity through such cultural expansions. Lastly, I would like to speak on the current hostilities around us. I am nothing if not a staunch supporter of ASI. I feel they have stood by us in our times of need, and we can naught but follow suit. Whenever ASI needs aid, I feel that Falasan should be there to offer it.		Jambo Lamonte I Jambo Lamonte, Lord of Anfalas hereby put forward myself as a candidate for the honorable rulership of Falasan. Having been born and bred here in the realm of Falasan I an proud and privileged to say again I'm honored to have served our glorious leaders, both past and present. My foremost wish is to see Falasan a successful, Prosperous and revered realm. My manifesto for Falasan is: Military points - Through war we will make peace - Try to inform the nobles of armies when decision will be taken so everyone knows when to log on to find their orders. This is part of a decision process for strategy. - Strengthening of our border regions with extra troops to show strength. - Continual reassessment of possible war situations, making contingency's plans for any possibilities. - Encourage marshals to make the majority of military decisions, such as troop settings. With the general strategically ordering the marshals to fight the war. Foreign policy - Fight together, or die alone - Continue to make allies to help defend Falasan for its times of need. - and honor our past alliances to strengthen bonds. Trade policy - economic excellence - Continue the excellent food management and set out long term solutions to the food defficet. - Encourage trading in Barad Falas as a center of trading in Atamara, it is the center of Atamara after all. - Send more traders out, with possible payment for traders. Miscellaneous Points - every little bit helps - A gradual discouragement of nobles having multiple titles. This will allow more nobles to have a position of responsibility and let these nobles focus their efforts on that one position, leading to a much more productive system with a larger input from nobles. Army sponsor titles are of course excempt from this. - Creation of a national song that is powerful, stimulating and frightening. - Creation of a recognized war cry. - An investigation into the possibility of a capital move to Barad Falas. Which would generate more taxes overall. Now a little message about myself: As king, I will continue relentless my hard work of making Falasan the best it can possibly be. You can see my work as editor for the Falasan Inquirer Newspaper. I personally oversaw the redesign of the paper. and also created several new areas that the Inquirer now covers, such as the Treaties area and the Hall of Fame. And the February election page of course. I have had excellent experience in Falasan and have learned greatly about the diplomatic stage of Atamara and its intracies. As ruler I would like to keep nobles of Falasan informed of the course their country is taking, and continue the distribution of letters that one receives as king, as started by Reilwin. Any other evidence to support my becoming as king would be that I am also the Lord of Anfalas. A very responsible position I have held for a while now. As king, I would humbly carry this foremost position of responsibility and ensure a strong future for Falasan. Knights and Nobles, Lords and Ladies. Tank Van Eylen All I will say is I believe that my experience is what is needed in the difficult times Falasan and Atamara face. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.		Gollum Domitoris I would like to put myself forth for the position of King. It has been many a long year since any of my family held the crown of a realm, but my long dead elder brother, Zakath, once ruled both in Oligarch and was later the first King of Falasan. My position would not differ much from the stance the Crown holds at this time, for I do not percieve there to be much wrong with it. I would not allow our allies in Ash Sea Islands to go down alone against their foes, and indeed try to bring the war to a speedy end be it by a negotiated peace or the destruction of the attackers.
