De Merovech
The De Merovech family is a family which has recently attained the status of nobility on the continent of Dwilight. The family house is located in Masatodon, a far flung rural region in the Maroccidens bordering the Zuman lands. Growing up in a wild land and near the daimon realm has had its impact upon the members of the family De Merovech as they have all grown up in constant danger. As the family watched the realms of Ordenstaat and Silverfall try and fail to colonise the region, it was under the rule of Barca that they attained a status of nobility.

Childerik De Merovech
Childerik De Merovech was the first of the family to achieve the status of nobility, in Dwilight, in the realm of Barca at the age of 17. At the time, Barca was a realm where all the nobility were senators, but for one or two other knights. Soon upon his arrival into nobility, many others were raised into nobility or joined the realm from far flung places.
Childerik took up an estate in Twainwood, under Senator Oswaldo Ossan. He quickly made himself useful, as the realm appeared to be overrun by monsters and undead as the majority of the nobles were upon a campaign against the realm of Saffalore. During the second campaign against Saffalore, Childerik took up realm defense duties and again during the first campaign against Aurvandil.
After a leave of three months, Childerik returned to Barca where he took up an estate in Rettleville under Suffete Julius Galvez. His new unit was named The Veldt. Ten days after returning, he participated in a referendum and won, becoming Senator of Ulitsa.
Childerik decided to go for the lifelong path of a Hero about a month after having become a senator.
Finished the First Barcan Census prior to the Luria Nova campaign. Has had Roran of Arescod and Chuldah Keuerleber as knights in Ulitsa. Participated in the campaign against Luria Nova during which he hosted a feast in Port Raviel with friends & allies. Took part in several battles against Luria Nova.
Returned to Barca during the initial small monster invasion, which was followed up by the larger monster invasion on Western Dwilight. Took part in the invasion of Luria Nova in the Barcan Horde pillaging and looting the Luria Novan countryside. Took part in the four large battles for Shinnen Purlieus during which he was wounded thrice.
During the chaotic times following the battles in Shinnen Purlieus, Childerik was elected as Lord Justice, during which time he un-banned nobles Kori Gould and Chuldah Keuerleber, whom had gone north to Swordfell. He also proclaimed that the fine on Golradir Aestran was wrong. These nobles had been punished for burning raping and looting Lurian lands. At this time, Childerik as the only active Barcan council member for a long period of time during which he was the de facto leader of the realm.
Upon making his way north to join Swordfell he was imprisoned by Luria Novan troops. He quickly managed to escape, and tried to continue his journey northwards, but the gods decided otherwise and teleported him back west to the Barcan motherland. At this point only three Barcan regions remained. It seemed the gods did not want him to leave Barca yet, so he remained and fought on.
Having returned to the western continent in Rettleville again, a place he had never expected to see again, he organised the departure of all the other Barcans to leave the west behind. He was again elected as Lord Justice, and upon his return to the east, Barcan holdings had expanded and some four ex-Lurian regions had become Barcan. He was elected senator of Thar Gortauth and quickly went to work raising morale and loyalty in the new regions of the realm. Kori Gould and Reylich Corvian both took up an estate in Thar Gortauth.
As goes with republics, the Monster Invasion was a time of great upheaval, and together with other Barcans, Childerik saw this as an opportunity to change the council drastically and gain power. This group consisted of a mix of random personae's whom all met in Barca and although enemies at first, becamse a very tight knit group within Barca. However most are now deceased following the monster invasion. Chuldah Keuerleber, the hunchback and rapist of Luria. Kori Gould, of the bear cult. Erasmus La Pointe, whom died as Suffette. This was the core of the group, three Saffalites and a Pure Barcan.
As Lord Justice Childerik made short work of Lurian and other prisoners by removing them of their gold, which was much needed in Barca, and redistributing that gold amongst the Barcan nobles, to the cost of his honour and prestige. He spent his time torturing Lurian adventurers in secret, to learn the torture tools, fortunately no one ever found out. On one occasion, Childerik apprehended the vile Lurian spy known as Allister Kabrinski whom had joined Barca with obvious devious intent. He quickly removed more than 1000 gold off that person and banned Allister. This gold allowed Barca to field a decent sized army for a while again.
Childerik continued to run much of realm matters closely with Suffette Erasmus, and was given free reign in all matters of Justice. Unfortunately Childerik became crazed due to starvation and was last seen running naked through the hills of Moon Bay.

The Veldt Infantry unit. Wiped out: 2 times. Took part in the campaigns against Luria Nova, when the DHarans had lost Port Nebel.
Männlicher Bayonets Infantry Unit. Wiped out and abandoned during the monster invasion of Western Dwilight.
Western Greeting Mixed Infantry unit used during the campaign against Luria Nova. Wiped out once after the four consecutive battles in Shinnen Purlieus.

Clovis De Merovech
Clovis De Merovech is the second member of the De Merovech family to join the ranks of nobility at the age of 18. Having travelled across the ocean, he arrived on the continent of Atamara, rumored to be a very rich and peaceful continent. Fortunately for Clovis, the realm of Silnaria had just been founded from the ashes of Coria and he joined it.
Clovis took up an estate in Belegmon, under Lady Raziella Himoura Niffeleisca. There was some confusion involved, as he had asked and received permission from Raziel Himoura to take up an estate in Belegmon, and so Lady Raziella was taken by surprise when Childerik took up an estate unanounced in her region.
Having joined the realm, he quickly recruited a new unit, which he dubbed Bloody Baptism, as tensions were running high with neighbouring realms. Then he was assigned under the command of his Lady Raziella in the army Second Ithilian Dragoons, but there was little action and appart from a minor skirmish he spent most of his time idling in pubs and training his troops. Once, an attempt was made upon his life by a certain Thyk Whiteblood, a Taran infiltrator, but this failed.
He was taken by surprise when several Lords, some of them council members, took up arms against the king in rebellion. As his Lady Raziella was one of these rebels he took up arms and stood with the rebels, but the rebellion was quickly crushed and his unit was destroyed upon the market of Barad Falas.

Pepijn De Merovech
Pepijn De Merovech is a commoner who started his adventuring in Luria Nova at the age of 20. He is a bit daft and does some strange things, but he's a nice guy overal. Although he bears a noble family's name, he remains simple and prefers the ways of the common man than the rules and etiquette of the nobility.
