De Blanc Family/Dieter/Story/Ethiala/Arrival/Calling for Unification

Dieter was on his way to meet with the King of Ethiala when he received the news of the assassination attempt. Fortunately, the King survived the attack, but still these were not good news at all. Something must have been going wrong as of late. Dieter saw a peasant and approached him.

"Are we in war state?"

The peasant remained speechless as he heard the knight's question.

"Yes... Yes, milord!"
"With whom?"

The peasant looked surprised again.

"With.. With Queen Trinity of Arcaea, milord!"

Dieter threw some silver coins on the floor and turned to his company.

"Scribe! SCRIBE!! Write down for me..."

"In these troubled times of war and when our King lies wounded in his bed, it is the knights' responsibility, our responsibility, to protect what is His, what is ours. Our lands are under constant threat and even though I have not heard of battles occuring in our lands, the "accidents" within our borders have increased suspiciously as of late. That can only signify that we have been infiltrated by dishonourable enemy backstabbers and spies.

Unification of the Ethialan Knighthood is required and action to protect our Kingdom should be our aim.

"Send this to every Ethialan knight you can find. We must speed up for Topenah. Once there, we will be reinforced by recruiting a few more men, some scouts and a few banners the least, and then we will be moving out for some action against our enemies. If the knights do not see any reason until then, I will make sure that they will."

Dieter pointed ahead and the company started moving again. Their destination was still the magnificent city of Topenah.
