Finally, he had reached Partora's Port. The trip from the Far Islands lasted for quite some time and Boris was exhausted. He must have been travelling for months or even years, at least that is what he thought, but eventually as everything else in life it came to its end. Guards were patroling the bay when Boris approached one of them.

"Iz t'iz Partorea?", Boris asked.

The guard looked at him dubious.

"Funny accent you have, Milord... Are you a foreigner?", the soldier responded.
"Inde'd, soldiea'! Iz t'iz Partorea?", Boris insisted.
"Haha! Partora, Milord! Indeed it is the magnificent city of Partora!", the soldier reacted cheerfully.

Boris though could never compehend any emotion of happiness. Laughing was something never experienced by him and not something that he would ever enjoy, him, the most strict and serious member of his family, any time soon.

"Iz t'eare aenyt'ing wron' wit' yuu, soldiea'? Yuu t'ink aem founy?"

The knight unsheathed his sword thus forcing the guard to lower eyes to the ground.

"Please, do accept my appologies sire... I did not mean any offence to you, Milord..." said the guardian of the port.
"Whe'r maye A' faind t'e Kinze ov Caligua?", Boris went on with his questions.

The guard could hardly solve the mystery of Boris's fore spoken sentence.

"Kinze, Milord? Kinze you said?" the soldier asked for clarification.

Boris turned to one of his scribes.

"My Lord wishes to know where he can meet with the Royal Council of Caligus, dear Caligan..." the scribe of Boris's company explained.
"Oh! Blessed you are for speaking our language sire! Hehe! That will make things a lot easier now... However, it is hard to answer your question... Due to the war, His Majesty the King and His Councillors could be anywhere right now, whether it is the Front, the enemy lands or in the Royal Palace. It is not something a commoner, like me, would ever know! Hehe! I am just guarding the port, that's all! Hehe!" the soldier blabbered.

Boris whispered something to his scribe.

"My Lord told me to inform you that you speak too much without saying anything of importance. He also asked me to warn you that if you laugh even one more time, he will cut your tongue and remove your teeth so that you learn what it means to laugh before him without permission."

And with these words Boris and his company departed for the inner city.
