Outer Tilog Changes Hands June 10, 2009
Earlier today Angus Na Leodaich, Duke of Outer Tilog city, joined the realm of Outer Tilog, bringing his duchy with him. Angus was a former member of Outer Tilog and Duke of the city under it's previous ownership, so it came as little surprise to see him rejoin his old home. The most shocking part of this story, in fact, is that Giblot would appoint him to the Dukeship.

The previous day, the armies of the Assassins, Lukon, and Outer Tilog smashed into the walls of the city, narrowly losing the battle but doing great damage to the city's fortifications and militia. Their intentions were clearly to step in when Duke Angus changed allegiance, and they did not expect to face battle. When the city changed over, most of the remaining city militia stayed loyal to their Duke, and prepared to fight alongside the armies they had just fought against.

Along with the wealthy city, Outer Tilog gained the mountain fortress of Steepglades, along with it's mines, and the hills and grasslands of Rollsovar. It is not yet known whether the lords of these regions will remain loyal to their Duke or former realm. Outer Tilog city has long been Giblot's greatest advantage in the war against the Assassins, Outer Tilog, and Lukon. It has provided them much gold, but most importantly a strong walled defensive position to stage their attacks, and shorten their refits. With the city under Outer Tilogian control, many expect Wetham will not last the month with Giblot effectively blocked off from sending aid.

Noble Suicide! June 23, 2009
In other news William Godwin, formerly the Grand General of Giblot (for about a day or so) and Baron of Wirkfyr, which you may remember leading a hopeless assault on our walls only a few days ago, was found dead in his cell yesterday, presumably by his own hand (at least, none of my nobles have stepped forward to claim killing him). A note that was found said that he had grown tired of the frequency of his stays in our care, and the generally harsh conditions of life here in the Colonies. Personally, I find this proof that he was obviously the most intelligent of all the nobility of that realm, a theory proven by our success in raiding their regions thus far.
