| Bells toll throughout Aquitain as Travest ascends her platform to speak to crowd of followers of the hidden god.
"My Coven! The time has come to embark upon our first expedition to recover an ancient relic of power! The hidden god has revealed to me the location this relic via the Illuminated Codex. The relic is a powerful ring. The text states that it gives a significant boost in organizing bureaucracy. So now we must begin our preparations to embark upon the quest to retrieve the item! Upon this journey I am sure this ring shall be granted to a noble within the order that is most worthy of bearing it against the many evils of this land." The crowd cheers as their weeks of recruiting and study begin to deliver results. Most of these first converts were peasants who wanted a different life than the hard one of farming or swinging a sword. They were grateful to the lady for giving them the chance to become literate opening up many opportunities to become scribes, or scholars. As the crowd quieted down Travesty resumed her speech. "We must begin preparations. We will need rations, wagons, supplies, and some guards. We shall approach the Sun Sword Academy for militant support and the farmers for the goods needed for the trip. This journey will be long, and undoubtedly the forces of evil shall throw their mindless hordes in our path as we go to recover such a powerful item to wield against them. But united in skill and fervor, I am certain we shall come away with our prize! Now go! Spread the word. Utilize your contacts. Quartermaster Pricella shall be organizing the supplies, while Quartermaster Lutz shall be handling the volunteer guards. Partner with them and utilize your networks in Aquitain to acquire what is needed for the journey. As I speak, there are now scribes en route to our noble and adventurer benefactors calling them to take part. We shall depart in a few days time!" The crowd let off one last cheer before the chatter and buzzing took over. Pricella and Lutz were swarmed as the members of the Coven began offering what they could for the expedition. | |

A courier runs up to you panting: This is from the Lady Travesty Tideweaver. This is your personal invitation for the recently announced expedition: "Greetings, As a follower of the hidden god, the Coven has made its first discovery. The Illuminated Codex as revealed the location a powerful relic. However, its location will be no easy task to reach. I call upon our nobles and commoners to take part of the expedition so that we can ensure securing this relic so that it may be placed in proper hands to be wielded against the evils of this land. I task you to come to Aquitain, where preparations are being made to depart in a few days time. While I am aware that many of you have other duties, the importance of this even and recovery of a powerful relic cannot be stressed enough. I expect to see you there if possible. The hidden god has blessed the tide, Travesty" Before you can finish reading the note, the courier has disappeared. (OOC: This is a roleplaying event.
