Briarull
The Edge of Civilisation
The fertile plains of Briarull lies on the mouth of the northern river. It consist of a few river isle and a peninsula that is connected to the city of Giblot, the regions of Rollsovar and Ammersfield are also easily accessible from Briarull. It also connected to the holes via a bridge, peasants who wander too far and cross the bridge have never come back and are presumed dead.
Briarull are home to the River Folks, a laid back people whose entire livelihood are dependent on the river. The River Folk calendar is based on the seasonal floodings of Briarull's plains which irrigate the water intensive crops that are grown in Briarull. They are mainly farmers who rely on the river to water their crops while others are fisherman. A select work as craftsman the Traders Supplies. Some become healers in the Houses of Healing.Briarull has some of the most effective Witch Doctors in the colonies who base their healing on hundred's of years of "river folk" knowledge. Eel slime has long been a "secretive" cure for all that ales the body. Next time you are in Briarull, be sure to visit the Great House of Healing to grab up a vial of Eel Slime Salve. Able, fit men are drafted into the recruitment centres as the Briarull Civil Defense Force or the Briarull Bloodbowmen.
Due to it's strategic placement and being the most southern point of Giblot, Briarull has long suffered the raidings of the Tilogians. To defend against this Briarull employs militias who stand ready to defend Briarull with their lifes.
