Disturbing Rumours (April 1, 2014)

Lately, the priests have become concerned about rumours that have been whispered around about some peasants with a strange affliction. Apparently, they are possessed by some sort of evil spirits that make them believe they are Daimons. The most worrying part, they say, is how fast this dark plague is spreading, with dozens of new cases appearing daily. Could it presage some fell event soon to come?

Nina woke up slashing the dark. Again. Her terrified eyes were open, but she couldn't see a thing, and she breathed with relief. She wasn't there again. He wasn't there with her. Only a dream... about what? Her past? She could remember a past, when there were friends and a girl, lots of hunting and seducing. It didn't seem like her past, though... She felt much stronger than the woman from that story. And anyway, nobody died and came back, right? She smiled, feeling an electric surge run through her nerves to the tip of her fingers. No, that woman was just a story I heard once. I pity her.

Before she could leave the tent and head to the shopkeeper, Nina felt the usual sickness after The Dreams. Running to the wastebasket, she waited, but didn't vomit and the nausea passed. She smiled, arranged herself and left. See? I'm getting stronger.

Please stay here so that we can hunt further together. I have to go to the city to sell the unique item i found in the monster Lair ( Yast's_Book_of_Betrayed_Heroes ) This will get me another 250 gold :-) Roary Commoner

Nina read the short note with an air that reminded the onlooker of a smile, but at the end, she felt what was now a familiar stir of greed and power, especially at the mention of that book. Nina felt this enormous need of going... somewhere. She clenched her hands and forced herself to calm down and write back.

"Dear Roary,

Unfortunately it seems that the monster bounty in Zisswii is at its end. I'm travelling north to Iknopata to see if there's better hunting there. Meet me at the local tavern, okay?"

As the message from Nina arrives Roary feels happy about it. He has felt sorry that he left in such a hurry, but unique items drop in condition quite fast and with it its value. From the 250 gold he is getting for the item, he can finally finalize his training where adventurer gear and combat gear will reach 100%.

Roary enjoyed the company of Nina a lot. Especially after his long journeys alone where he travelled Enweil, Nothoi and Fronen and even sat in a Roimbara prison.

He start writing a letter to Nina

"Dear Nina

I am very sorry that i had to leave in such a hurry. I am looking forward to meet you again. If you leave location, please leave a note at the innkeeper of the region, so that i can track you down. When we meet again we will live one night as nobles and enjoy the pleasures of life

As Roary has written the letter, he ask the innkeeper to arrange that it will be send and put him 2 silver in his hand. This greedy bastard demands more and wants another silver. As he pays the man, he hopes he will actually send the letter. He goes to his room and desperate need some sleep, he has been so long on the road over 50 hours without sleep, but here he will meet Maremme Darkhouse. the ruler and banker of Enweil and he hopes he get a recommendation. He already has one in his pocket from the Doge of Fronen. 1 more afterwards and he might be a noble of a realm and do not have to play around with silver anymore. He then will have a golden future.
