Roleplay from Nina Tai Bluelake (3 days, 5 hours ago) Message sent to everyone in the region Askileon Purlieus (3 recipients) Sitting in a tree branch, trying to spot any sign of monsters, Nina wondered what to do next. Ludovico had sent her unwillingly to Askileon, and she remembered there was gold to be earned in Askileon Purlieus. However, it seemed some sort of illness had been afecting all monsters. She was barely able to find any, for at least a week now, anywhere.

Should she head back to Giask and try to earn some renown, or first go ahead and meet her family?

Giving up the hunt, the wench decided to bathe in a nearby stream. They would soon be frozen, so she'd better enjoy the last, cold river baths of the year. Her landing triggered a yapping sound, that stopped as sudden as it has started. Looking between the tree's roots, Nina saw the eyes of a tiny animal, perhaps a cat or a puppy, looking at her with great attention.

- Hey, little fella, don't worry, I'm not staying.

Picking up her bag, the hunter left, still wondering about her dillema.

Here happened some conversations with other adventurers from Pian en Luries saying that nobles were pursuing them, that scared Nina a reasonable amount and made her decide towards going home to meet her parents, for she didn't know whether she'd have to flee towards distant lands before they could meet again.

Roleplay from Nina Tai Bluelake (7 hours, 39 minutes ago) Message sent to everyone in the region Poryatu (2 recipients) Nina sat down to eat near the townsland walls. She could't get home to Lucy with such a disastrous result... No one from the high council of the realm had seen the mail with any importance, and the wench had to find someone who did, but that could also bring her honour.

Staring at the bread in her hands, she cut it and threw her little friend a piece. The small animal had been following her steps since Askileon Purlieus, and Nina didn't quite know what to do with it. After a moment, the hunter stood up, with a new idea. It wasn't the realm council, but she had been judge once... and she was her rightful owner. Perhaps it could also be a safeguard once the Royal Arbitrator turned against Nina, just as he did against her other hunter friends.

Changing to her cleanest tunic and rubbing her boots until they shined, Nina hid her bag, except for one item carefully wrapped, and left for the lord's palace.

Arriving to the palace's front door, the commoner lowered her head. The tunic wasn't as provocative as a dress, but those guards knew her, so there was something she could use.

Passing her fingers through one of her locks and smiling naively, Nina approached the elder man on the right side of the door.

- Greetings, Peter! It's been a long time, hasn't it?

For a moment, the man looked startled to hear his own name, until he saw the woman's face and recognized it, with a large smile.

- If it isn't Ceorl's girl... I thought you had gone away for good, miss. Ceorl says that you left home to make your family proud, that's what he says... So what are you doing back in this old town? - I have come to see my family, Peter, and let them hear of my journeys... But first, I have a very important delivery to make, to the new Lady of Poryatu. How can I do that?

The man laughed.

- You and your deliveries as usual, miss. Do as you always do, enter through the back and deliver it to the kitchen! - Mister Peter, this isn't the usual delivery, and must be handed in hands to the lady... It is more of an official delivery. You know, I have traveled far, I have met our great Royal Arbitrator...

The man looked confused. How would he ever think of announcing a commoner to his lady? Hearing the judge's title, though, he was a bit shaken in his beliefs.

- The Royal Arbitrator, you say? Oh, miss, I can't simply announce a commoner like you, no matter how prestigious you are in your wanderings... but... the Royal Arbitrator, heh? - Yes, Peter, and he called me to his presence, he did! And talked to me, and I looked him in the eyes, for he was fascinating, and he told me never to do it again. But he didn't kill me or torture me, no, mister. - seeing the guard's eyes increasing in awe, still reluctant, Nina added, as her final card - And, know what, I learned a very good pie recipe in Giask City... - A pie recipe? Hm, good, miss. Pie is good. Royal Arbitrator, you say? Hm. Maybe she'll see you. Pie, hm. Wait here for a while.

With this, the man went quickly inside thinking that even a lady wouldn't mind seeing a commoner that the Royal Arbitatror saw himself, and that, hm, pie is good, and deliveries that should be made to hand should be made to hand, and, hm, pie...

Nina stood there for a while, hoping to be called in.
