If you have any suggestions for an article, please contact Channing Harte via messenger boy! ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ THE STATE OF WAR BETWEEN THE CITIES OF CHRYSANTALYS AND DARFIX! ~ Channing Harte, 12 June 2009 Today is has been officially reported by Duke Noel Castelnau Lanrezac that, "...a state of war officially exists between the cities of Chrysantalys and Darfix in terms of the more glorious and beautiful city. The City of Opals will completely and utterly eradicate the ugly and pox-ridden Golden City of Darfix! " The newly appointed Duke Noel has recently been planning a whole new design for his city, including a whole new main street and a brand new Plaza! Many families in the city will lose their homes and may hap their jobs over Duke Noel's ferocious plans! Many people of both Chystantalys and the realm of Astrum, wonder if it is really worth it to put so much time and money into these new projects. Many are frustrated that such a new Duke and noble, thinks he has the right to flaunt his style so early in his career. Many peasants have already nick-named him the "Dirty Vandal of Chysantalys". One middle-class merchant who will now lose his mansion because of the new Main Street being implemented, likes to call Duke Noel, "A molester of defilers and a whipper of blasphemers." While these life-changing projects go into the works, up in the tip of North-Western Dwilight, the "Golden" City of Darfix is rumored to have building decorated with real gold! It is so rich up there, there is said to be more than 10,000 pounds of gold in statues and decorations in the city of Darfix. There have been no harsh words since the King and Duke Boreal of Darfix set up a colony in the city. Now the questions stands, which city is truly more glorious? Duke "Vandal" Noel's Opal Chrysantalys or King Boreal's Golden Darfix. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The first official article of The Astrum Agent! ~ Channing Harte, 10 June 2009 Editorial Because Astrum is becoming such a big and well-known realm, I would like to introduce to you, the Astrum Agent! Here I, Lord Channing Harte and my scribes will be posting as-it-happens news of and around the realm of Astrum! Astrum is located on the island of Dwilight, in the North-Western reaches of the islands. We are a long-standing realm, and a colony of Morek, who have fought off countless enemies to ensure our survival. Currently we are expanding further into the north-east and making pretty pictures on the chests of dead monsters that stand in our way. Anyways, back to the topic of this newspaper!
