The Astonishing Shield of Righteousness was discovered on December 7, 2010 by the adventurer Ginera Filador on the defeated body of an undead champion in Werdham, Atamara. The fight was the sixth of seven engagements with undead in the region that day as Ginera picked up the trail started by Gavan Anaris. With reckless abandon, Ginera attacked the zombies. Three hours later, the horde lay in ruin and the champion defeated.
