Octavio continued his rule of Arcachon, presiding over a considerable period of peace as Arcachon rebuilt and controlled the regions and our neighbours warred. During this time Arcachon made many of the continents greatest Recruitment Centres providing us with an elite force of troops, along with a considerable income of gold, placing us in an excellent position; surrounded by allies and armed to the teeth, however being trapped in this situation would soon become interminable for the nobles of Arcachon as many wars raged on around them.

During this time the Duke of Akanos, Hamilton Vita seceded to Arcachon, because the realm of Ohnar West, our allies, had degraded themselves and watered down, nay, even removed any sense of nobility by allowing peasants to rule over nobles and join the nobility at will. However our Pontifex decided to honour our alliance and hand over the city, back to Ohnar West, something the Duke would not allow, he quickly seceded to create the Akadian League. This sparked the very bloody Akadian League - Ohnar West war, which despite our allies having superior resources they could not beat down the two region realm. (With many realms taking sides, as I recall Arcachon took the side of Ohnar West, While Arcaea and Greater Aenilia took the side of Akadian League, with the capital of Ohnar West even being sacked by various realms) though when it came down to it such a small and unimportant realm would be forgotten and left to its own devices as other problems arose - Soliferum and Mosesedelphia. Soliferum declared war on Arcaea, those two realms being the biggest and wealthiest, with Soliferum striking deep into Arcaea before being repelled, Mosesedelphia soon joined on Soliferum, their confederates side. After a small degree of fighting over a few weeks more realms got involved, Greater Aenilia siding with Arcaea for reasons best known to themselves (Greater Aenilia having recently fought a war against Arcaea, clearly this alliance was just a pact against Soliferum, though this was just a warning of things to come) At first it seemed the Principality of Zonasa, Soliferum's confederate would join on Sol's side, though as the war heated up Zonasa broke the federation and claimed to be remaining neutral, greatly reducing the area for conflict, with Soliferum forced to march through their ally of Cathay to attack. Cathay who also had recently fought against Arcaea to no real conclusion (They had besieged Arcaea's capital more than once and the war seemed relatively evenly matched) and the peace was signed also for reasons best known to Cathay and Arcaea.

Soliferum's army had rallied in Cathay's capital, preparing to launch an attack deep into Arcaea and Papania once more, when they suddenly declared war on Cathay. It was later revealed that the Cathay High Council had voted to sneak attack Soliferum when the army had marched from the Cathayan capital of Anacan and into Lenamaziel, wedged between them and Cathay, however a lord in the council betrayed the Cathayan's telling Soliferum. This lead to the successful siege and sacking of the Cathayan capital, as they where caught of guard, however this could be considered the least of Cathay's troubles, as the duke of Taop seceded to Soliferum, taking several regions with him and the lord of Pates also seceding, with many other important nobles leaving. Leaving Cathay greatly weakened, almost crippled, the Mosesedelphian armies joining in on the looting also. with no other choice Cathay had to turn to its former enemies - Arcaea and Arcachon, both realms they had repeatedly attacks while they where engaged in other wars, twisting the knife deeper and greatly hurting the war effort, however as an ally of convenience their apologies where accepted and they where allowed to become allies. By this point Arcachon had become deeply involved in the war, since Soliferum had harboured Arcachon's greatest religious enemy - the Church of Sartan and had promised to recreate Sartania, and Mosesedelphia's continued claims to be ruled by a god, a great heresy against Adaghar. The war now stood as Arcaea, Arcachon-icon.pngArcachon, GA Mini Phnx.pngGreater Aenilia and Papania-icon.pngPapania versus Mosesedelphia and Soliferum.
