An Najaf/Summer Festival 2023-03-19
The Summer Festival traditionally sees a long distance horse race. All four estates have selected a champion, who will depart from the monument and then has to pass all the estates (usually the route Doesire-Amedes-Armstrong-DeWies) and return to the monument.
At the monument, gambling is common. The bet of the gambler is divided in five parts and is allowed to change the remainder of his bets every time an estate signals the first rider has arrived. The estates will send a carrier pigeon to the monument every time a rider arrives.
The total money gambled will be divided according to how much money everyone has bet. For example, if A and B both gambled 50G, but A bet 20G on the winning horse and B bet 30G, then A receives 40G and B receives 60G.
OOC: There will be five rounds and every round a die is cast for each horse. The winning horse is the horse which has the highest number in the end. However, not all horses have the same chance: De Wies is the smallest estate and gets no bonusses, Doesire and Amedes both get a bonus of 1 with each throw, Armstrong gets a bonus of 2.
